The fear of Jehovah.

“Then a sprout will come forth from the stump of Jesse, And a branch from his roots will bear fruit. / And the Spirit of Jehovah will rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and the fear of Jehovah. / He will delight in the fear of Jehovah: He will neither judge by what His eyes see, Nor decide by what His ears hear.” (Isaiah 11:1-3)
Knowledge is related to fear. No one feared Jehovah as much as Jesus. I’m afraid that the fear of Jehovah may be lacking among us. What is the fear of Jehovah? It is to have holy awe, respect, and reverence towards Him. How do these go along with eating and drinking the Lord? Revelation 22 shows that there is a river of water of life that flows from the THRONE. Is there a throne in your life? Is there a throne amongst all your conversations with your parents, your friends, and at school? If the throne is there, then the river and the tree are there, and then you can have a lot of eating and drinking. Often, our enjoyment of the Lord is limited to meetings, conferences, and trainings because we want the enjoying without the fearing. We must have a holy and healthy fear of the Lord since He is God. He is omnipotent. He is omnipresent, meaning He’s everywhere. Our eating and drinking will increase if we say “Amen” to the throne. He is also omniscient, which means He knows everything. He knows what we speak, where we go, and what we think. He knows the intention of our hearts. When you send a text, it’s not just between you and the other person, but it’s between you, the other person, and the Lord. Once we realize this, then we have the fear of Jehovah and we will think twice of what we do. The fear of Jehovah goes along with the knowledge of Jehovah. The first prayer we should have is “Lord, I want to know the fear of Jehovah.” The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom. Without fear, we are quite foolish. The more fear we have, the more enjoyment we have. The second prayer we should have is “Lord, I really need to know You.” If we know Him more, then we will fear Him automatically.
