Bay Area Eateries, Destination #4 - Cafe Zeste

I’m behind on posts… It takes too long to attempt to write fancy descriptions of where and what I eat. :(

The low-down:

- Cute cafe next to Strawberry Creek Park. Don’t know where that is? Neither did I. It’s kind of smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood with no other businesses around it (from what I saw), i.e. secluded, quiet, and cozy :)

- French California cuisine. The food was tasty, but it was somewhat cold/room temperature.

- Fresh flowers on the table!

What we ordered:

- Salmon fettuccine with asparagus, bell pepper, and mushroom (remembering this from the top of my head since it was a special and isn’t listed on their website)

- Roasted pork loin sandwich with candied apples, greens, grained mustard, and cornichones, and served with pommes frites

Okay, that still took forever. Sigh, life of a perfectionist.
