Bay Area Eateries, Destinations #6-8

Sightglass Coffee - Small but cute cafe that’s set up in the middle of an unfinished warehouse. They serve amazing coffee - the line out the door (not really door, more like the missing fourth wall) proves it! Order the latte and you’ll get your coffee fix and a pretty foam design with it :)

Brenda’s French Soul Food - Another small but PACKED place. Someone who recommended this place to me said to order the “Beignet Flight”, which includes one each of their famous beignets (plain, Ghirardelli chocolate, Granny Smith apple with cinnamon honey butter, and crawfish with cayenne and cheddar), and the “Fried Shrimp Po-Boy” sandwich. Sorry, there aren’t that many pictures because we scarfed the food down before I remembered to pull out my camera phone. Yes, it was that good. Um, and we were in a rush to get somewhere on time :P But the food was delish, too!

Sophie’s Crepes - I normally don’t like crepes because they’re usually too cakey, soggy, and thick for me… But these ones are thin and crispy! Yum. I always get the mixed fruit (strawberries, kiwi, bananas) with Nutella. They also have one with green tea ice cream, red bean paste, and matcha sauce, but I haven’t been bold enough to get this for myself because my stomach lacks lactase enzymes :( Thank goodness for friends who share.

What a great day :D
